After the company released it, the film was sent to other distributors, and GFM Animation eventually acquired the worldwide distribution rights and switched the film to a theatrical release. When Daffy demonstrates his talent with levers, inside the meteor he pulls a lever to lower the machine and pushes it to get it back up. But with Porky and Petunia strapped in, Daffy moves the lever forward and the machine still lowers them.

At the end of the closing credits, Porky Pig makes his classic announcement, “That’s it, people!” only to be interrupted by Daffy Duck who tells him that this isn’t the end of the movie and they need a sequel. This movie is a non-stop fireworks display of high-quality gags that are original and unpredictable. The animation is top notch and true to the classic Looney Tunes style.

My friend and I who saw it with me both agreed that we never thought we would ever see a movie like this again in our lives. We couldn’t stop laughing, one of the best cinema experiences we’ve had in years. I’m sure this movie will become a cult classic over the years, even if it flops when it finally gets a US release.

So if you like Looney Tunes, watch it asap

Her name is actually spelled Sheryl, which was correct in the cast list. Well, Cheryl, it’s time to make a decision! Referred to in CTV News Six Toronto: September 8, 2023 episode (2023). A highly engaging and incredibly creepy film, an excellent directorial debut for Anna Kendrick.

This film serves as a sobering reminder that we women go through life as prey. Prey in the physical sense to the sick, like “boy three”; (real-life serial killer Rodney Alcala), as well as falling prey to a sick patriarchal system where we are constantly treated as less than. The rejects in this film are boys, not men, whose fragile egos can&#39 I can't bear to be reminded that they’re part of the problem, and I certainly can’t bear to watch a woman refuse to be treated as inferior, as Kendrick’s character does. Later in the film, the restaurant scene and his subsequent words to Alcala: “I’m not going anywhere with you”.

is an effective example of seeing the danger you face and saving your own life. In a patriarchy where women are still treated as second-class citizens, unworthy of dignity, respect and protection, we must be our own best protectors and advocates. Great film from Kendrick, I look forward to seeing more of his directing work. "What We Do in the Shadows" is one of the biggest TV and streaming premieres this month.
