A Jackal was seen driving a white Alfa Romeo Spider
In The Day of the Jackal (1973), The Jackal also drives a white Alfa Romeo, although it was an earlier model. References to Graham Norton in the following: Denzel Washington/Paul Mescal/Saoirse Ronan/Eddie Redmayne/Blossom (2024).
It's an updated take on the classic story
The Day of the Jackal is as good as advertised. The series is about a sniper assassin (Eddie Redmayne) who goes by the nickname The Jackal.
He is a highly trained assassin and also a master of disguise
He's been offered a job that's so rewarding that he can retire, but the job is risky, especially with a ruthless British intelligence officer, Bianca (Lashana Lynch), hot on his trail. She follows him across Europe as he tries to complete his mission.
There are many casualties along the way as these two go head to head
Their personal lives begin to collide with their work as they begin to realize that other forces are pulling their strings. While some parts drag on to make it to the 10-episode mark, there's plenty of action and drama throughout the series to keep you entertained.
