The world's most famous superhero and the most famous comic book journalist face the pressures and difficulties of balancing work, justice, and parenting in today's society. The pilot pays homage to Action Comics #1 (Superman's debut) by showing the Golden Age hero's original costume in live-action for the first time. The iconic green car from the cover is also visible. Superman flies past the WB logo and transforms it into the DC Comics logo.

Both logos are red and blue and are located on the Kent farm. . I would give the first and second seasons a 9 out of 10, but the third only a 4 out of 10. We finished watching the third season a few days ago and were very disappointed.
The cancer storyline dominated the entire season
Some people welcomed it with appreciation, but others found it unwatchable. There are a few scenes in each episode where the characters talk about nothing but cancer, and in some episodes Superman is either not seen at all, or if he does appear, it is only fleeting. We continued watching the movie and were pleased when Lex Luthor appeared at the end of the series and the character looked like Superman again. We finished the third season and went straight back to the beginning of the first season.
What a difference!
The first season is so beautiful; the action is excellent, the effects are great, and the acting is excellent. It is a completely different show. We hope the old Superman and Lois return for the fourth season. As a family that has struggled with cancer (like most), the third season just did not feel like Superman.
It was very depressing at times and not the break from the "real world" that we needed after a hard day at the office
