Remake of the American (English) French TV series HPI (2021)
Scenario
It follows Morgana, a single mother of three, and how, thanks to her brilliant mind, she is able to help solve crimes while reorganizing evidence while doing a cleaning shift at the police station. Despite his very high IQ, excellent memory and extensive knowledge of arcane matters, Morgan makes a series of basic legal mistakes that anyone who has ever watched a TV legal show would know to be don't have to. In the first episode, for example, she obtains a document from a locked safe at the suspect's law office that would never be admissible in court - illegally obtained evidence.
The original French version, Haut Potential Intellectuel, was much smarter
Nor can it be used to obtain other evidence—violating the legal doctrine of "fruit of the poisonous tree"; In Episode 2, she has to be reminded to wear gloves before handling evidence at a crime scene, and in Episode 3, she removes all the documentary evidence from the police station, completely breaking the chain of custody and making everything she removed inadmissible. court.. Redo HPI (2021).
He is fired from this job for disrespecting a customer
The first episode was pretty much the same as this first episode, except that the first part was skipped, where it was established that she lacks patience with the people she talks to. It was her job, besides working as a cleaner at the police department. After that missing scene, the rest of the first episode was pretty much the same.
It might be fun because I like Caitlin Olsen
The biggest difference is the main character, Morgan, who is a lot weirder than the one portrayed in the American version. After watching the original version, it's extremely hard not to compare. I hope that the character she had in The Mick, irreverent and funny, will come out in future episodes.
