Scenario
Uncover the secret of a town in the middle of the US that was locking up all who entered. As the residents struggle to maintain their sense of normalcy and search for a way out, they must also survive the threats of the surrounding forest. A town set in North Beaver Bank, Nova Scotia was built especially for the series. The site, known as Beaver Bank Villa, has a long history and many years ago housed housing units, a community center, a fire station, a school, a church, a store and more.
A rope descends to it
a nearby military radar base that operated in the 1950s and 1960s. Only the paved streets and alleys remained, and a fake city was built over them. When Boyd enters a distant tree, he finds himself at the bottom of a well. When Boyd emerges from the well, Martin is the only one in the room, chained to the wall.
Martin didn't let go of the rope
Included in Half in the Bag: Making to Mid-2022 Part 1 (TV Shows) (2022). Que Sera, Sera (What Will Be, Will Be) Written by Jay Livingston and Ray Evans, performed by The Pixies. I'm writing this to the show's writers and producers: please don't make this another Lost, another disappointment. You're walking right into the same trap.
And it's so annoying
None of the characters communicate with each other or share what is happening in the city. They seem to have suddenly become nonsensical, deliberately withholding important information that might help us understand what is going on. Also, in every single episode something new happens but is never explained. I've watched 14 episodes so far and nothing is clear - just like Lost.
So please, writers and producers, don't spoil this one either
