More than a decade after the original series aired, Netflix is reviving the “Queer Eye” franchise. Swapping the concrete jungle of New York City for other parts of the United States, the show features a new Fab Five and a new setting. The fashion experts often build relationships with men and women who hold beliefs that differ from their own, creating moments of social commentary with fashion advice. Advising those looking to make lifestyle changes is food and wine expert Antony Porowski, interior designer Bobby Burke, beauty consultant Jonathan Van Ness, fashion designer Tan France and culture expert Karamo Brown, who reality TV fans may recognize as one of the housemates on “The Real World: Philadelphia.” David Collins, who created the original show, serves as executive producer.
